The exhibition “Intant Bundì” opens at the Carraro Chabarik contemporary mosaic studio in Spilimbergo: 24 original illustrations created as part of the “Il Lunari Intant Bundì” project.
The project stems from the creation of a birthday calendar that combines Dutch tradition, Eastern aesthetics and the Friulian language in a single creation. What’s more, today we see it reinterpreted using the quintessential Friulian art form: mosaic.
This journey is the brainchild of Irene Beltrame, a graphic designer and tattoo artist who was born and raised in Friuli but has Dutch roots (and little knowledge of the Friulian language). The texts are by Matteo Gerussi, who embodies (almost) every stereotype about the people of Friuli.
You’ll find the illustrated panels on display, and we’ll explain how this idea came about. We’ll reveal the mosaic interpretation created by Carraro Chabarik and round it all off with a bang!

INFO: The exhibition will be open from Friday 27 March to Saturday 2 May, Tuesday to Saturday, from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm and from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
